If this is your first time here, allow me to give a brief overview of who we are and what we do. Navigation Games is a non-profit organization based in Cambridge dedicated to growing the sport of orienteering. Our primary focus is to give every child in Cambridge the chance to orienteer at least once before graduating high school, but we are not limited to kids alone. All of our events are structured so that people of all ages and backgrounds can try the incredible sport of orienteering, learn how to read a map, and generally have a great time being active and outdoors.
For those of you who don't know, orienteering is a sport where individuals use a map and compass to find a series of checkpoints. There are many different variations of this sport such as traditional point-to-point orienteering, score-orienteering, and even vampire-orienteering! Regardless of the format, in order to be successful it is important to have a balance between both physical and navigational skills.
Navigation Games is dedicated to growing this sport and getting people outside and having fun. We hope you are able to find any and all information you are looking for on the website, but if you have any further questions, comments, concerns, or ideas, please feel free to contact us anytime.
We hope to see you in the woods!
