Dave was the official photographer for the Junior USA team at the World Championships for several years. He is a member of NEOC and CSU.
Ethan was Program Director at Navigation Games for 6 years prior to graduating to the Board of Directors. He has raced for Team USA at both Junior and regular World Orienteering Championships.
Sara Mae was a founder of Cambridge Sports Union and continues to serve on the Board. As a Boston marathoner before women were officially allowed in the race, she has been a strong supporter of women in sports. She published Orienteering North America for many years and continues to be active in the orienteering community.
Katia learned to orienteer in her native Italy. She orienteers here too! Katia is the William and Ami Kuan Danoff Professor of Applied Mechanics at Harvard University. In her research, she combines theoretical, computational and experimental methods to gain deeper insight into the non-linear behavior of materials and structures.
Tony has worked in education for over 25 years in a range of roles, including educational grant-making. He is Senior Director at Cognia, a global nonprofit focused on helping schools improve.
Jen was Executive Director of Navigation Games until COVID-19 dashed many of our plans. She has experience with youth-serving organizations, and managing kids' athletics programs.
Liz is a parent, science teacher - indoors and out, hike leader, plant enthusiast, and map fan. Wayfinding, in all its possibilities, continues to fascinate her and Navigation Games' evolving mission is inspirational.
Meka worked in Navigation Games in 2024 and loved what we do, so he joined the Board. He's knowledgeable about our programs, passionate about youth development and full of energy!
John retired after a successful career working in the biotech/pharma industry as a finance director. Former Army veteran, John used to compete as an adventure racer in Team 24 hour races. This was the motivation that led him to become part of the Navigation Games team as a volunteer and finance committee member.
