Navigation Games teaches after-school classes at several Community Schools throughout Cambridge. These classes are geared towards children in grades JK-5, with a focus on developing spatial memory and map-reading ability through fun games and activities.
Navigation Games provides fun, outdoor, and educational summer activities to summer camps throughout the area. Activities vary by location and age group, and may include games such as Animal-Orienteering, Vampire-O, Clothespin Scavenger Hunts, map-drawing, and much more!
Outdoor Education Providers
Navigation Games partners with outdoor education providers to co-promote our programming, and add orienteering to your existing programs. We can get a map made, host public orienteering events at your site, prepare activities suitable for your location and clientele, and do professional development with your staff so that they can deliver the programs.
Many students are home from school because of the coronavirus pandemic. We can help you create neighborhood courses throughout your district, and accompanying answer sheets, for youth and families to do on their own while practicing social distancing. We can also provide online progressive games that develop the skills to enable children to do the courses, and tailor them to your youth population.
