Do you like maps and treasure hunts? Or, do you wish you could navigate better with maps? This session will give participants an immersive orienteering experience that will focus on developing map reading skills through fun and engaging map-navigation and scavenger hunt-like activities. The activities are tailored for ages 8-12. Family groups are invited. This class is located at Warren Park (133 Eliot Street) in Brookline, MA.
No prior experience is required, but participants can learn more about orienteering here. We recommend participants to bring their own water bottle and to dress accordingly keeping in mind wind chill and cloudy weather.
