This Giving Tuesday, YOU can spark discovery, confidence, and adventure in schools by supporting Navigation Games! 

Orienteering turns the outdoors into a giant puzzle. It builds problem-solving skills, teamwork, resilience, and joy as kids learn to navigate. And the best part? It can be taught in every school.

Working with schools is our primary focus. Every child goes to school, and by working with schools, we can reach the most children. In 2025, Navigation Games:

• Empowered more than 300 educators nationwide to teach orienteering

• Held 19 hands-on workshops across 14 states

• Supported orienteering for over 9,100 student experiences in 38 schools 

• Heard from previously-trained teachers who now independently run orienteering activities in classes in Cambridge, Brookline, Natick, and beyond. 

Schools Need Us More Than Ever

Schools are facing tight budgets: rising costs, shrinking revenues, and the end of federal Covid support. Some districts we’ve worked with no longer have funds to pay for our services and are not yet fully independent. Your ongoing support is crucial to help us complete our work with those districts and to bring orienteering to new communities nationwide.

• $250 → A starter teaching kit + training for an educator

• $350 → A school receives a custom orienteering map (with OUSA grant match!)

• $750 → A full professional development workshop for an entire PE department

Growing Our Reach Together

We’re building new pathways to inspire and equip educators to use orienteering in their classrooms. In 2025 we piloted a program with Orienteering USA to get orienteers to deliver workshops at educator conferences. In 2026 we plan to design and deliver an online workshop for teachers. In 2027, we hope to work with Orienteering USA to have a significant presence at the national PE teachers’ conference in 2027. Your support today accelerates all of this momentum.
