Teams of 2-6 people will travel throughout Whipple Hill park, working together to find checkpoints shown on a map. There will be a mass start at 7:00 pm. By the end of the two-hour time limit it will be dark, so all team members must have at least three flashlights and are encouraged to wear their favorite reflective or glow in the dark apparel. No prior knowledge of orienteering is necessary. There will be an optional half hour training session prior to the start of the race, from 6:15 to 6:45. We will send participants the map and instructions ahead of time. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
