About the Event
For the first three sessions, participants will take part in a set of progressive activities to develop orienteering and map reading skills using a standard orienteering map. This series is designed to give participants an immersive orienteering experience that will focus on developing essential forest-navigation skills through fun and engaging activities. The final session will be a culminating activity, where an orienteering course will be set and participants must use a map and compass to find checkpoints as quickly as possible.
There are two class times available: 9:00-10:15 or 10:45-12:00
